Greatest Carnival on the Planet
The 2021 South Florida Fair took place in May, instead of the usual month of January due to COVID-19 restrictions in the early part of the year. But now that the world is slowly starting to open back up, United Farmers Alliance was proud to be part of this historic event. Located in the Sundy Farmers Market building right next to the largest traveling Ferris Wheel in North America, UFA set up shop for the duration of the fair selling local farm-fresh products. Such products included kombucha from Counterculture Kombucha Co., milk, ice cream, and beef from Sutton Dairy Farms, creamed honey from Palm Beach Honey, pickles from Palm Beach Pickle Co., pork from HertaBerkSchwein Farm, chicken and eggs from Southern Unique Sustainability, and an abundant assortment of produce from Alderman Farms, Holman’s Harvest, GreenLife, Teena’s Pride, Gratitude Farms, Blueberry Bunch Farms, Agri-Gators, and YouFarm to name a few. All products come from our network of over 40 farms, all native to the South-Eastern Florida region stretching from Ft. Pierce to Miami. UFA also took this opportunity to educate fair patrons about our organization and mission statement, socialize with other vendors, and connect with the fair community.
Every year The South Florida fair features many exciting and interesting exhibits on Florida agriculture and farm life, so we felt right at home. We hope to be back again next year for the South Florida Fair, and for other events at the Fair Grounds to continue serving our local communities.
